This simple spritz is perfect for strawberry season. Sweet, juicy strawberries pair beautifully with the soft floral flavor of chamomile tea, creating a drink thatโ€™s simple but special. It's incredibly easy to make with just a few ingredients and one of my absolute favorite strawberry mocktails.ย

Thereโ€™s no shaker or complicated prep at all. Just build the drink right in the glass and give it a quick stir. The mixer is flexible too, so you can make this strawberry and chamomile tea mocktail your way. Sparkling water, kombucha, or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine all work well, depending on how bubbly or celebratory you want the finished drink to feel.

Why Youโ€™ll Love This Strawberry Spritz

  • Juicy sweet strawberries pair perfectly with floral chamomile
  • Make it right in the glass, no shaking required
  • Plenty of mixer options so you can make it your way
  • I personally love the non-alcoholic wine as a mixer, as strawberries and wine pair perfectly.

Tips & Tricks

  • You can strain your strawberry puree if you want to avoid seeds. I like unstrained to keep the fiber and goodness!
  • Chilled ingredients work best, so aim to make your strawberry puree and brew your chamomile in advance if you can so it has the time to chill.
  • This recipe is perfect to batch for friends and can be prepared in advance, just avoid adding your carbonated mixture until just prior to serving.

  • Top with your choice of citrus kombucha or non-alcoholic sparkling wine (a ginger kombucha would also be delicious!)
  • Edible flowers, strawberries and/or lemon for optional garnish.

Instructions

  • Fill a wine glass with ice. Add the strawberry puree, chamomile tea and lemon juice. Add a little more ice if you need to (this recipe tastes best icy cold!) then stir gently.

Notes

To make the strawberry puree: blend 3-4 strawberries and 2 tablespoons of water together until smooth. I find a stick/immersion blender easiest for this!
