Reasons To Love It

There are SO many reasons to love this simple recipe!

  • It can be made with fresh or thawed berries, meaning you can make it any time of year - no need to wait for raspberries to be in season. I personally love using thawed berries in my mocktails...I find them much juicier AND more vibrant in color.
  • There's a low sugar mocktail option, so you can make it your way.
  • The mocktail is made right in the glass, saving time on washing up.
  • It's the ideal balance of tart raspberries, sweet honey and floral rose, plus the perfect shade of pink, making it a winner for Valentine's Day and baby showers.

Ingredients

A few simple ingredients come together to make this delicious raspberry rose mocktail at home! Note the image below specifies coconut water, but I also make some other suggestions below.

A flat lay of honey with a dipper, three raspberries, a small cup of rosewater, three lemon slices labeled lemon juice, and a glass of sparkling water with text labels for each ingredient.
  • Raspberries: as mentioned above, you can use fresh or thawed raspberries here. Tip: if you're thawing your raspberries in the microwave...be careful! Those little juicy bundles take mere seconds to defrost.
  • Rosewater: rosewater can be found easily online and in some speciality grocery stores depending on where you are in the world.
  • Honey (or your sweetener of choice): honey, rose and raspberry are a match made in heaven, so it's definitely my preferred way to sweeten this mocktail. But if you want something lower in sugar, you could replace it with a sweetener, such as monkfruit drops or stevia.
  • A squeeze of lemon: fresh is always best in mocktails, but you can replace with bottled if you wish.
  • Your choice of mixer: I LOVE a citrus kombucha in this for the probiotic boost, but sparkling water or citrus sparkling water also work well.

How To Make It

  1. Place the raspberries, lemon juice and honey in a tumbler of your choice.
  2. Muddle until the juice has been released from the raspberries and they are in small pieces. Ideally they'll be small enough to fit through a straw!
