A large wine glass holds an orange cocktail garnished with apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and star anise. Orange roses, dried citrus, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and apple slices are arranged around the drink.

Itโ€™s fall, and despite what some people may think, that means itโ€™s all things apple season! I adore apples, and at the first sign of fall I love to make a big batch of my Mulled Apple Cider and wait for the leaves to start to change.

This Apple Cider Spritz Mocktail, like my Fall Apple Ginger Fizz, captures the perfect combination of flavors in one gorgeous drink. You can make it in a single glass for an individual serving, or it makes the perfect batch mocktail for holiday parties or gatherings.

Why Youโ€™ll Love This Autumn Spritz

  • Fast and easy with just 4 ingredients and 2 minutes.
  • Perfect apple and cinnamon flavor combination.
  • A perfect non-alcoholic drink for holiday party pitchers.

Equipment You Need

  • I love using a classic spritz glass or large bell wine glass for this recipe
  • Something to measure - either a jigger or measuring spoons will do just fine!
  • Something to stir

Ingredients

Apple cider - still or sparkling. Soft apple cider can be hard to find near me, so I learned how to make my own! Check out my Apple Cider Mocktail recipe for how to make your own cider at home.

Lemon juice - fresh squeezed will give you the best flavor.

Cinnamon syrup - homemade or store-bought. You can replace this with a pinch of cinnamon powder if you wish.

  1. Stir very gently to combine
  2. Garnish with whatever you choose - I love apple slices, cinnamon stick and a star anise for this mocktail

Tips & Tricks for the Best Spritzes

  • Chill all ingredients first so no ice is necessary.
  • If it's a warm day, pop your glasses in the freezer for half an hour or so prior to assembling.
  • Fresh lemon juice is always best.ย
  • Have fun with garnishes! You can use star anise, frozen cranberries or red currant or pomegranate seeds, lemon peels, a cinnamon stick...there are so many options for this one!
