Wow your guests this holiday season with this easy to make and uniquely gorgeous Jack Frost Mocktail. With two simple recipe variations, for the Naughty and the Nice, everyone will want this stunning mocktail on their Christmas list!

This simple Jack Frost mocktail comes in 2 variations, one Naughty and one Nice, but both are absolutely delicious and spectacularly stunning! With its beautiful blue hue, this Jack Frost non-alcoholic drink is the standout star of any holiday gathering.

For those keeping it Nice, I’ve replaced the traditional, sugary blue curaçao syrup with all natural blue spirulina. Spirulina is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein, and also happens to work perfectly in mocktails!

If you love the Naughty or Nice concept of replacing sugary or syrupy ingredients with nourishing, better-for-you alternatives, check out the “Let’s Get Festive” chapter of my book, The Mindful Mocktail. It’s a great gift for those in your life who don't drink alcohol or for when hosting guests who don't partake and you want to serve something more thoughtful than just soda or juice.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Easy: this gorgeous blue mocktail takes just a few ingredients and a couple minutes to make.
  • Delicious: you’ll love the flavor of this simple recipe, and the optional non-alc rum gives each sip a little nip.
  • Stunning: your guests' eyes will light up like a kid at Christmas when you hand them this drink.

Ingredients for your Jack Frost Mocktail

Everyone deserves a holiday treat, so I’ve included ingredient variations for the naughty and the nice.

Naughty

Pineapple juice: any brand will work, or you can use freshly squeezed if you wish.
Blue curaçao syrup: a non alcoholic version of blue curaçao. I use the Monin brand.
Cream of coconut
Non-alcoholic rum: this ingredient is completely optional but does make your non-alcoholic Jack Frost feel a little more adult.

Nice

Unsweetened pineapple juice: to keep the sugar content down.
Blue spirulina: I use a powdered blue spirulina, I'll pop the link to the one I love in the recipe card below.
Vanilla coconut yoghurt: a surprisingly delicious addition to nourishing mocktails.
Coconut milk
Non-alc rum (optional)

Garnish Options

  • Edible snowflakes (often used for baking, these are also great for a festive drink topper)
  • Optional: I also dusted the snowflakes with white edible glitter to give them an extra frosty feel.

How to Make It

  1. Add drink ingredients to your shaker, add ice and shake well to combine.
  2. Pour into a coupe or tumbler and garnish with your edible snowflake dusted with edible white glitter (optional, but wow!)

Tips & Tricks

  • Blue spirulina can be found online, in health food stores, or possibly in the “natural foods” section of your grocery.
  • Blue curacao syrup is non alcoholic and different from the blue curacao often found in drinks like Blue Lagoons, Blue Hawaiians, etc.
  • Chill the pineapple juice beforehand if you can.
  • Non alc rum really takes this up a notch and makes it feel a little more adult.
