Recipe Ingredients

You only need a few ingredients to make this Glowing Skin Punch. Iโ€™ve also included links to reputable sources discussing potential benefits and claims of the ingredients.

Hibiscus tea - brewed and chilled. Hibiscus tea is well known for it's high level of antioxidants and other benefits. It's also extremely affordable, making it a perfect addition to mocktails.

Non-alcoholic red wine - It's no secret I adore non-alc red wine, so I was just thrilled when a study was completed with some evidence that it may be able to aid in slowing skin dehydration and improving elasticity. Pomegranate juice would also work here if youโ€™re not a fan of wine replacements.

Ginger kombucha - Kombucha is widely hailed as a beneficial beverage, and it pairs perfectly with the alcohol-free red wine and hibiscus tea.

Optional: you can add some sweetener of your choice to this, but I personally didnโ€™t need it.

How to Make Berry Punch

  1. Brew and chill your tea. Add the berries and some ice to a pitcher
  2. Pour in the tea.
Side-by-side images show a glass pitcher with ice and mixed berries. In the first image, berries are being added. In the second image, red liquid is being poured over the berries and ice. Strawberries and blueberries are nearby.
  1. Add the red and kombucha and stir gently.
  2. Serve over ice with extra berries to garnish (optional).
A split image shows red juice being poured into a pitcher with strawberries and blueberries on the left, and the juice being poured into a glass with fruit slices on the right. Both steps are numbered 3 and 4.

Tips & Tricks

  • Chill all ingredients to keep the ice from diluting the flavor of the drink.
  • Frozen berries work well and will keep the drink cold.
  • Be sure to choose a low sugar non-alcoholic red wine
  • Brew a double strength hibiscus tea for added benefits
  • If you choose to add sweetener, maple syrup would be perfect for this, or you could add a little low sugar lemonade.
