Tart Cherry Juice Mocktail

This simple tart cherry juice mocktail combines tart cherry juice, chamomile tea and other nourishing ingredients. Often called a 'sleepy girl mocktail', it's perfect to sip while winding down at the end of a long day.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz warm or chilled chamomile tea
  • Pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon maple syrup or your choice of sweetener
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • 3 oz tart cherry juice
  • Pinch of seat salt (optional, helps with hydration before bed)
  • Optional garnishes: lemon wheel and/or edible flowers

Instructions

To Serve Cold

  • Brew the chamomile tea and measure out 3 oz while the tea is still warm. Add the optional cinnamon, stir and chill. Pour over ice into a medium tumbler.
  • Add the maple syrup and lemon juice. Pour in the tart cherry juice and stir. Garnish if you wish, then serve.

To Serve Warm

  • Add the warm chamomile tea, maple syrup, lemon juice, tart cherry juice and sea salt to a glass and stir well. Taste and check temperature. Place in the microwave for 20-30 seconds if you’d like it a little warmer. Garnish a serve.
