Ingredients

  • 6-8 fresh or thawed berries of your choice (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries or strawberries)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 4 oz coconut water or pear juice (sub with lemonade or apple juice)
  • 2 oz pomegranate juice (sub with cranberry or cherry)
  • Optional garnish: mini skeleton or extra berries (see note)

Instructions

  • Muddle the berries and maple syrup in your glass. Be very careful if you're using a wine glass - muddle gently!
  • Find a spot for your skeleton (if using!), then fill your glass with ice to hold him in place.
  • Add the lemon juice, then the coconut water (or sub).
  • You can either serve with little shots of pomegranate juice on the side so your guests can create their own 'bloodbath', or add the juice before serving.

Notes

Note on garnish: Be sure that whatever skeleton you use is safe to be submerged in liquid that is going to be consumed. If unsure, hang him from the outside of your glass instead! Have fun.
