- ½ lime cut into 4 pieces
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 1 oz non-alcoholic rum (this can be left out, or you can use ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar for a little bite)
- 3 oz pomegranate (or cranberry!) juice
- soda water to top (sub with ginger ale or a ginger kombucha for a probiotic hit)
- pomegranate arils and mint (optional: to garnish)
- ½-1 oz sweetener of choice (optional: I found this sweet enough, but if you're a sweet tooth you can add some maple syrup, stevia or your choice of sweetener if you wish)
Muddle the lime in your glass to release the juices. Clap the mint together in your hands and add it to the glass. If you’re using a sweetener, add it now.
Fill your glass with ice and add the optional rum/ACV and the pomegranate juice. Top with soda water, stir gently, garnish with pomegranate arils and mint, then serve.
