Ingredients

The Classic

  • 1 oz non-alcoholic blue curacao syrup
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 oz alcohol free vodka (can sub for lemon juice or orange juice - see note 1)
  • Fruit or flowers to garnish (optional)

Better-For-You

  • ½ teaspoon blue spirulina
  • 1 cup low sugar/sugarfree lemonade
  • 1 oz alcohol free vodka (can sub for lemon juice or orange juice - see note 1)
  • Fruit or flowers to garnish (optional)

Instructions

The Classic

  • Fill a large glass with ice. Pour the blue curacao syrup and alcohol free vodka (or alternative) into your glass. Slowly top with lemonade. Stir gently, garnish and serve.

Better For You

  • Fill a large glass with ice. Place blue spirulina in your glass, then add the alcohol-free vodka (or alternative) and lemonade. Stir gently. You might find the drink foams up a bit as the 2 ingredients react with each other. If this happens just scoop the foam out. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Note 1: traditionally, Blue Lagoons are made with vodka, so if you want your mocktail to be as close to the original as possible, use a non-alcoholic vodka. You can leave this out completely, or sub it for lemon juice or orange juice and it will stick taste great!
