Strawberry Lemonade

This easy strawberry lemonade is an ideal pitcher drink recipe to make for guests.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 strawberries halved, see note 1
  • 80 millilitres freshly squeezed lemon juice see note 2
  • 30 millilitres honey
  • 300 millilitres water see note 3

Instructions

  • Blend strawberries, lemon juice, honey and half of the water together in a high speed blender.
  • Strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Divide mixture between 2 small glasses, top with remaining water and serve.

Notes

Note 1: I used fresh strawberries for this recipe, but frozen would work too. Make sure the strawberries are thawed before blending.
Note 2: You can use a bottled lemon juice in place of freshly squeezed if necessary.
Note 3: If you prefer a sparkling lemonade, use half tap water (for the blending step), then half soda water.
