  • 10 dates pitted
  • 3-4 cups water


  • Place 10 dates in a bowl.
  • Cover with boiling water and leave for at least 20 minutes. Drain.
  • Pit the dates.
  • Place dates in a blender with 1 cup of water.
  • Blend.



  • You really do need a high-speed blender for the best outcome. No one wants chunks of date in their mocktail!
  • You can also add a little extra water if you want the syrup a bit thinner.
