Ingredients

  • 10-12 edible flowers of your choice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Dampen the bottom of the ice cube tray.
  • Place flowers face down in the tray so that the flowers ‘stick’ to the bottom.
  • Very gently, pour a small amount of water over the top – just enough to hold the flowers in place. Freeze.
  • Remove from the freezer and fill the remainder of the tray. TIP: If the flowers float to the top of the tray once you’ve filled it up – don’t worry! Just flip the flower over and freeze that way instead.

Notes

I would recommend placing the ice cube tray in the freezer once you have put the flowers in. Then fill with water in the freezer. I found if I tried to fill it up on the bench and walk it over to the freezer, the flowers would lift off the bottom!
