Freeze berries, citrus and herbs into ice blocks!
They are perfect to use in sparkling water or your favourite alcohol free drink, and will release a light flavour as they melt.
I like using lemon ice blocks in my lavender lemonade and lime in my virgin mojito (swipe for pics!).
This is also great if you have fruit that isn’t being eaten and you don’t want it to go to waste.
Enjoy!
A recent poll on my stories showed there are SO MA A recent poll on my stories showed there are SO MANY of us taking part in Dry January 2021.
And with alcohol sales $2 billion more than normal this year in Australia alone (with similar reports in other countries), it’s not surprising many are choosing to lay off the alcohol and give our bodies a break this January.
I’ve put together a mini toolkit with some tips and tricks I used last Dry January that helped me.
You can find the link in my bio.
There are only a few hours left of 2020, and I haven’t spoken to many people who are sad to see it go!

It was a pleasure to create this healthy mocktail It was a pleasure to create this healthy mocktail recipe for one of my favourite brands, @etchsparkling 💚.
ETCH is a family run, Australian business, founded by husband & wife duo Jason & Andy.
They make delicious, sophisticated non-alcoholic sparkling beverages using Australian native fruits and herbs.
I used my favourite flavour, ZST, as a base, which is made using extracts of native Australian fingerlime, lemon myrtle & a dash of rosemary.
If you don’t have access to ETCH where you live, you could easily replace it with sparkling water, kombucha, or any of your favourite sparkling beverages.
🍏 Mindfully Green 🍏
Ingredients
10 green grapes
1 inch grated cucumber
1/2 grated Granny Smith apple
ETCH ZST
Method
Muddle grapes, cucumber and apple in a bowl or glass. Make sure the grapes are completely broken so juices are released.
Strain mixture into a glass and add lots of ice.
Top with Etch ZST.
Garnish and serve.
Cheers!

There are a few new faces around here so I thought There are a few new faces around here so I thought I’d say hello!
I’m Nat.
Whether you’re sober, sober curious, want something to offer your non-drinking friends, pregnant, or just not drinking tonight, all are welcome here 💛
I’ve written a bit about my story on this page but for those who haven’t read it and are interested:
Around this time last year I finally accepted that alcohol was causing big issues in my life.
I was drinking most days, drinking alone, always drinking far more than I’d planned to.
My days would start with a dry mouth and a dull (or raging) headache.
I’d snap at the kids constantly.
I wasn’t sleeping well.
I’d get anxious about every little thing.
I wasn’t motivated to start or try anything new.
Life was just a bit.....blah.
As cliche as it sounds, I knew I wasn’t reaching my full potential while drinking.
When I started hiding bottles of wine from my husband and drinking in secret in the cupboard (true story), alarms bells started ringing.
Truth be told they had been ringing faintly in the background for years, but now they were so loud I couldn’t ignore them.
Then I had a couple of scary wake up calls (more on that later).
I began listening to podcasts, reading and educating myself on alcohol and what it does to the body. I joined @thisnakedmind 30 day Alcohol Experiment. By Day 15 I had heard enough.
I was still searching for that special drink in the afternoons so I started making drinks at home.
I picked up a camera for the first time and started taking photos of the drinks I was making.
This page was started as my passion project, sharing my story and my recipes.
It was here I found the sober community, a wonderfully unexpected surprise.
I started getting messages from people all over the world, just like me. Uncomfortable about the role alcohol played in their lives but couldn’t quite figure out why, or what to do about it. Turns out….there are a LOT of us.
What began as 1 month away from alcohol has turned into 8 and I feel great.
Of course there are times that I miss it but it’s kind of like missing a toxic ex - there were some great times but overall it was bad for me.
I hope you enjoy my page 💛

Both adults and kids will LOVE this Christmas mocktail.
I try to keep my mocktails fairly healthy, so for this one I’ve created a Naughty and Nice version!
Nice: made with almond milk (or milk of your choice), low sugar white chocolate (I used @noshufoods ), peppermint and vanilla extract - simply divine.
Naughty: made with milk of your choice, a candy cane (yes, you get to melt a candy cane in your drink!), white chocolate and vanilla extract.
Head to the link in my bio for the full recipe.
Cheers! 💚❤️
